Pay Scale In Dollars

WELLINGTON, June 7.
Rates of pay expressed in dollars and cents, as well as pounds, shillings and pence are written into two awards just issued by the Arbitration Court.
An award for greenkeepers employed by golf clubs and other sports bodies in the Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson and Westland areas, provides a weekly rate of £l6 15s lOd or 33.58 dollars for head greenkeepers. Sole greenkeepers will receive £l6 2s 6d (32.25. dollars), and other greenkeepers £l5 (30 dollars).
The other award is for bowling dub greenkeepers in the Wellington area and provides a 15s increase over the previous award rates.
