Car And Horse Collide
The driver of car which collided with a horse at the corner of Worcester street and McLean street at 1 a.m yesterday was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for shock. She is Gale Helen Brown, of 485 Halswell road The horse was treated at the scene of the accident by a veterinary surgeon and later taken to the Waimairi County Council pound. It was claimed by its owner during the day.
Bus Crashes. Thirty-two persons, including women and children, were seriously injured when a bus ran off the road and fell into a ravine on the Athens - Salonika national highway, the national police reported. Athens, June 7.
