NEW FLOATING DOCK.—The “floating-up” ceremony for the new Admiralty dock which was constructed at Portsmouth. The dock, known as AFD 60, was laid down in April, 1964, and after being fitted out will be towed round the west coast to Faslane, on the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. The dock has been built for the maintenance of Polaris submarines.
