CENSORSHIP OF BOOKS
Uniformity In Australia (N Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) CANBERRA, June 7. Commonwealth and State officials will meet in Canberra later this month for the first detailed talks on setting up uniform book censorship in Australia.
They will discuss the composition of the proposed Joint Advisory Board of Review which will make recommendations to Commonwealth and State Governments on censorship. The programme for Commonwealth and complementary State legislation setting up the new board will also be discussed.
