Disease From Cattle
A Rangiora county farmer has been infected with leptospirosis from cattle on his farm. He is in his forties. Other cases of notifiable disease reported in the Christchurch Health District last week were infective hepatitis affecting a man in his thirties in Waimairi county and a man in his forties in Lyttelton borough, and pulmonary tuberculosis affecting a woman in her thirties in Lyttelton borough.
