Mr T. W. Wehtje, who recently completed a three-year term as managing director of Atlas Copco (N.Z.), Ltd., has been appointed managing director of the Atlas Copco Company in Austria. Mr Wehtje’s responsibilities in New Zealand have been taken over by Mr W. J. Hogg, as sales administrator, and Mr C. H. Mitchell, who is responsible for the company’s internal organisation. Mr Mitchell has been appointed a member of the board. Mr H. E. McDougall retired last month from the position of manager (advertising sales promotion, and public relations) for Cal tex Oil (N.Z.), Ltd. He joined the Texas Company (Aust.), Ltd., forerunner of Caltex, in 1921, and had been connected with the company's . advertising and publicity since 1935. He is succeeded by Mr O. L. Gwilliam, who has been assistant manager of the advertising, sales promotion, and public relations department for some years. Mr Gwilliam joined the company in 1939. Mr B. G.
