N.Z. Rifle Team Scores Well
(New Zealand Pres* Association) DANNEVIRKE. The New Zealand small bore rifle team recorded a magnificent total of 7965.667 out of a possible 8000 in a postal match against Australia yesterday. The results show that New Zealand will maintain its unbeaten record in this annual competition.
D. Robertson, of Waikato, scored top with 400.38. Next was the Empire Games representative, B. Lacey (Levin) and J. Withers (Waikato), with 400.37. The New Zealand cards are marked in Australia and the Australian cards in New Zealand.
