TOPPED POLL

The Mayor of Wellington (Sir Francis Kitts) who topped the poll held by the Labour Party today for five Wellington representatives for the national executive. Sir Francis Kitts won 365 votes, Mr B. J. Landers 355, Mr J. H. Collins 352, Mr L. C. Hair 323, and Mrs E. Harris 263. Topping the unsuccessful list were the Labour candidate for Wellington Central, Mr R. O’Regan, and the member for Heretaunga, Mr R. L. Bailey.
