JAYCEES POST
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 11. Mr N. G. Hattaway, of Christchurch, has been appointed vice-president of the International Jaycee. The announcement was made from the world headquarters of the Jaycee movement at Miami Beach, Florida, this week. Mr Hattaway fills the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr Birendra Kumar, of India. Mr Hattaway, who resumes office immediately, is responsible for Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Laos and Vietnam. Mr Hattaway is a past president of the Christchurch Jaycees and last year was national president of New Zealand Jaycee. Last November he was the leader of a 400-strong New Zealand delegation which attended a world congress of Jaycees in Sydney.
