Manuao To Defend Title In Dunedin

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN. F. Manuao, of Auckland, the Tonganborn holder of the New Zealand professional middle-weight boxing championship, will defend his title in Dunedin on Wednesday, May 25.

His opponent will be J. Henderson, of Invercargill. The bout will take the place of the match that had been sought earlier between Manuao and the Noumean middle-weight champion, J. Urene, whose terms were not acceptable tj the Otago Boxing Association. Henderson was the national amateur middle-weight champion in 1961 and 1962, and in the former year he held the Southland middle-weight, light heavy-weight and heavyweight titles.

During his fighting career he has never been knocked off his feet.

As a professional, he has had eight contests for six wins, and in each of the bouts ■he lost he later reversed the decision.
