Coaster Sold

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 14. The 975-ton Northern Steam Ship Company coaster Moanui has been sold to an Australian shipping company, John Burke, Ltd., of Brisbane, for an undisclosed price. The Moanui was built in Hong Kong in 1961, and has been trading round New Zealand ports since then. Her new owners will use her for trading between Brisbane and the Gulf of Carpentaria, in north-east Australia.
