Mr Eyre Going To Malaysia
(N.Z PA -Reuter —Copyright) KUALA LUMPUR. Mar. 11. The New Zealand Defence Minister (Mr Eyre) will arrive in Kuala Lumpur on April 1 for four days of talks with Malaysian leaders, Government officials said today. They said he would be accompanied by the New Zealand Chief of Defence Staff. Lieutenant-General L- W. Thornton.
New Zealand has sent ships, aircraft, and an infantry battalion to Malaysia. Mr Eyre will inspect men of these units.
