GIRL GETS REWARD
Melbourne Gaol Escapers

MELBOURNE, March 11
A Sydney girl will be paid the full reward of $lO,OOO for the recapture of the Melbourne gaol escapers, Ronald Ryan and Peter Walker.
This was announced in Melbourne today by the Victorian Chief Secretary, Mr Arthur Rylah. He sent a cheque for this amount to the New South Wales Chief Commissioner of Police, Mr Norman Allan.
Mr Allan will forward the cheque to the woman whose name has been kept secret to prevent underworld retaliation.
