Award To New Triumph

Yet another car of the year award has come into being, this time presented by “Car” magazine, of Britain. The first winner is the Triumph 1300.

The panel of judges which selected the Triumph included Stirling Moss, the late Laurence Pomeroy, and several other well-known motoring

journalists from Europe and the United States.

Practicality and value for money were the main consideration in judging. After the secret voting, it was found the Triumph was a clear winner of the award and the four foot high cast alloy trophy.
