Tito Yearlings Sold

Two yearlings passed in at auction on Wednesday have been sold. Wright, Stephenson and Company, Ld., Melbourne, as agents, yesterday purchased a filly by Garrison Hanover from Fernleaf, offered on behalf of J. E. V. Chapman, of Halswell. They paid 475 guineas for the filly, the same figure at which she was passed in. The Methven trainer, C. V. May, paid 180 guineas for a colt by Deep Adios from Bonny Judy, offered on behalf of R. Sullivan and T. J. Shanahan, of Christchurch. This colt failed to attract a bid in the ring.
