Fellowship To Lecturer
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 9. An Auckland University lecturer. Miss Elizabeth Andrews, is the only New Zealander awarded an international fellowship of the American Association of University Women this year. Miss Andrews, who is 26, is one of 316 women from 55 countries who applied for a fellowship. Only 46 were successful.
“The fellowship is worth 2500 dollars, plus tuition fees, and will enable me to study my particular specialty—cultural geography—for a year at an American university of my own choice,” said Miss Andrews.
