No R. and G. Interim

(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, March 10.

Group sales of Ross and Glendining, Ltd., Aucklandbased soft goods group, for the six months ended January 9 exceeded those for the corresponding period last year (excluding sales of units closed down or disposed of in 1965) Reorganisation of the group’s sales divisions is progressing as planned, but it has not yet been possible to place Fashion House on a satisfactory basis, says the report. Group profits for the halfyear are slightly in excess of those of the same period last year.

It is not proposed to declare an interim dividend.
