Presentation To Master
A presentation of two travelling rugs was made to the first assistant of Burnside High School (Mr E. J. Brewster) last evening by the chairman of the board of governors (Mr B. Zeff) on behalf of the board. Mr Brewster, who has been first assistant at the school since it opened, is leaving to become headmaster of Lincoln High School. Mr Zeff said the school had been fortunate to have such an able first assistant to build it in its early stages. On behalf of the board he wished him luck in his new appointment.
Mr Brewster said his association with the school had been pleasant and he left with some regret.
