DETENTION OF PREMIER
(NZP.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LAGOS, March 7. Nigeria’s military Government today ordered the detention of the suspended Premier of Eastern Nigeria (Dr. Michael Okpara) and six promi neat politicians. The detention order —published in an extraordinary Gazette and signed by the head of the military government, Major General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi—said the men were being detained in the interest of State security.
