New Trophies
Two new trophies are included in the trophy list for this year’s Mayfield show. A trophy given by Mr R. W. ' Oakley, a Romney breeder, will be awarded to the exhibitor gaining most points in the Romney flock sheep section in five successive shows. The introduction of this trophy has stimulated interest in the Romney flock sheep section and entries are higher than usual. The other new trophy has been given by the family of the late W. S. Greenslade and will be awarded to the exhibitor gaining the most points in the grain and seed’ and field roots sections of the show.
