PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
The president of the Mayfield Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Mr D. G. Ivey) has expressed confidence that Saturday’s show will be a greater success than usual.

He | | has farmed at Ruapuna since | I 1947. i His farm, of 500 acres, is f | mixed, carrying 2200 sheep s I and between 30 and 60 acres § I of crops. In 1947, the proI perty carried 850 sheep. | I During the Second World ' I War, Mr Ivey served with the I Royal Canadian Air Force ■ and with the R.A.F.
