House Sold For £3600
A bungalow at 20 Wadmalrt road, Upper Riccarton, was sold for £3600 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Mabel Wilson by Sherris and Wilson, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr C. Robertson. The house has two bedrooms, a sunroom, livingroom and a kitchen-dining-room. There is also a garage on the section of 30.3 perches. The opening bid was £3OOO. There were five bids of £lOO and two of £5O. A brick bungalow at 43 Effingham street. North Beach, was passed in at £3450 when it did not reach the reserve of £3600. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan, acting in conjunction with Mr L. W. Whittle. The bouse has a livingroom, a diningroom, four bedrooms, a laundry, kitchen and bathroom. Outbuildings on the section of 21.3 perches include a double garage and a workshop.
Two flats at 89 Glandovey road, Fendalton, have been sold by private treaty by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The property was passed in at £6250 when offered at auction last week.
