AIR PAGEANT AT TIMARU
Big Air Force Contribution Twenty-two military planes will take pact in the annual pageant of the Royal New Zealand Aeronautical Club at Timaru on Saturday. On display in the air and on the ground at Levels airport will be 13 Harvards, live Vampires, a Bristol Freighter, a Sunderland, a Canberra, and a Hercules. The flying diaptay will be almost tiie same as that presented at the opening of Auckland Airport in January. With tits exception of the Sunderland, ail participating aircraft wiH antra ta CtateU church on FHday. During the afternoon they wtii rahearae the display. On Saturday the 13 Harvards will fly past, after which four will break away for an aerobatic performance. The Bristol freighter will demonstrate short-field takeoffs and make a supply drop.
