DUNEDIN, March 8. Nearly £lOOO lias been found in a secret cache in a Dunedin home. Ten bundles of old notes were discovered in a false bottom of the lower drawer of a wardrobe in a house at 15 Prestwick street, Maori Hill. A young quantity surveyor, Mr A. R. Muxlow and his wife, had moved into the house on February 10, and three days later were clearing out a drawer in the bottom of a
wardrobe when a false bottom fell out revealing a cardboard box tied with string. Inside the box were 10 bundles of notes each worth about £lOO. The discovery was made at 2.30 on Sunday afternoon. Fifteen minutes later, Mr and Mrs Muxlow delivered their find to the Central Police Police Station before they had even counted the amount
