To Lecture In Hong Kong
The chairman of directors of Crothall and Company Ltd., of Christchurch (Mr E. A. Crothall) will visit the Philippines and Hong Kong in October to lead discussion groups and to lecture business leaders. The seminars will be run by the Indo-Pacific Management Council. Mr Crothall will discuss latest theories of organisation and control, and how they may be turned into concrete fact in business, with case studies. He said that the second vice-president of the regional management council of the Indo-Pacific Management Council (Dr. K. Basu) of Bombay, had been invited to lecture to New Zealand's Institute of Management groups late in October. Seminars for his visit might be held in Christchurch and Auckland. Dr. Basu is a former director of Unilever of India, a Doctor of Medicine who specialises in staff work, he is professor in charge of the management research institute at Bombay university.
