Auckland's Bid Voted Out

The Auckland Yachting Association was outvoted, 67 to 20. in a move to provide a new constitution and amend voting rights at the annual meetin-: the New Zealand Yachting Federation on Saturday. Auckland's motion was supported by the nation's two biggest yacht clubs. Royal Akarana and Royal Yacht Squadron, and other Auckland clubs, but was opposed by every other major and minor association and nearly all other New Zealand clubs, including seven in Auckland.
