MISSION TO LEPERS

Aid For Tanzania Farm Planned A boundary fence for a farm being carved out of jungle at the Living Waters Leprosy Centre in Tanzania will be provided by the Mission to Lepers youth group, ‘Torchbearers.” The centre is managed by a New Zealander, Mr George Hart, from Waiau. The 13,000 members of Torchbearers also intend to provide a two-room school for the centre. Other projects undertaken by the organisation include facilities for a hostel in India for boys who are homeless, and a motorcycle for a former leprosy patient who is now a social worker and evangelist.
