TROTTING Co Pilot Picked To Win Tonight

The three-year-olds. Co Pilot, in the Moorhouse Stakes, and Frosty Heather, in the Fitzgerald Handicap, look two'of the best prospects at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s autumn meeting at Addington Raceway tonight.

Co Pilot last raced at Addington Raceway on February 12. He was travelling like a certain place-getter until he lost his driver in a mix-up .near the two furlongs. His previous form was of a high standard and with average ■ luck he should win the race. Chief Command is another consistent three-year-old assured of solid support. He has more ability than many in the race and might make Co Pilot work hard for a win. Quality Inn has raced consistently lately and another bold showing is expected from him. With On Probation and Bright Enterprise he appeals most of the others.

Frosty Heather will try for his fifth successive win in the Fitzgerald Stakes, the second leg of the on-course double. He will meet some useful improvers in this field, but should be capable of another solid performance.

The bracket of Petite Sal and Majeur will be in demand after some sound racing in recent weeks. Petite Sal appeals more than her halfbrother and from her handy barrier position she should be to the fore throughout. The consistent Bright Highland has drawn badly, but is usually a shade slow. If she

races up to her best form i she, too. should take part in the finish. Vauxhall Prince will strengthen the hand of southern stables and together with Maudella and Legendary he appeals most of the rest. Udette, Finesse and Bryan John form a likely trio in the first leg of this double, the Cressy Stakes, in which the

chances of West End, Morant, Alray and Angelita are also highly rated. The T.A.B. double will be run on the Randolph and Bealey Handicaps, the Indeci-sion-Lusty Lad bracket and Asia Minor forming a likely combination. Fine weather is forecast and the track will be in splendid order.
