(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Mar. 7. Tax-paid net profit of Metters (N.Z.). Ltd., has fallen from £17,295 last year, to £12.805. Dividend has been crt — from 12J to 8$ per cent —this year, on capital increased by the recent one-for-four bonus issue. Books close March 21 to 28; ex dividend March 21. Howard Smith. Howard Smith, Melbourne-based investors in shipping, coal mining and sugar, is to pay a final 6 per cent ordinary dividend, making a steady 10 per cent for the year; ex dividend March 13.—(P.A.)
