Sheep To Be Flown To N.I.
Merino wethers from the Bendrose station, near Lake Pukaki, which were bought at the high country sheep fair at Lake Tekapo on Saturday will be flown across Cook Strait today to the North island.
They are part of a consignment of 1500 five-year-old Merino wethers which have been bought for the Wainui

Apart from the 299 wethers bought at Lake Tekapo. another 800 Merino wethers will be going to the Wainui Trust from the Muller station in May and another 400 have already gone north from Mr R Adams, of Marlborough. The sheep have been acquired through tbe National Mort-
gage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd. All of the sheep are being flown from Blenheim to Paraparaumu and then being taken by motor truck to the station, which lies 38 miles east of Taupo.
Last year 1300 wethers were also flown to the North Island from Blenheim for the trust, and as well 300 halfbred ewes bought at the Ashburton County breeders’ adult ewe fair were shipped from Lyttelton to Napier.
