Investigation Of Storage A Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board investigator is to inspect city shops to see whether milk is being kept in cool storage. Mr G. A. Franks asked at a meeting of the board yesterday whether the inspector should be making more investigations in warm weather He said he was concerned that some shopkeepers might be putting other produce in cool storage and leaving milk in crates on the shop floor. Mr A. P. Millthorpe. the ; board’s supervisory officer, replied that several proprietors had been warned about that, and agreed that investigations should be increased. More inspections would be made, and a report made to the next meeting.
