AIRLINE POSTS
Singapore And Hong Kong Mr R. H. Bryant, senior traffic officer for Air New Zealand in Christchurch, has been appointed district traffic manager for the airline in Singapore. He will take up his new appointment this month. Mr Bryant was born in Geraldine. He managed a hotel at Akaroa for several years
and then worked for a manufacturing firm before joining Air New Zealand in 1960. Mr J. R. Pringle, senior traffic officer and movements co-ordinator, of Auckland, has been appointed district traffic manager in Hong Kong. He joined the airline as a traffic officer in 1958. Both Mr Bryant and Mr Pringle were in Hong Kong and Singapore during Air New Zealand’s proving flights there in February. They are on leave in New Zealand before taking up their appointments.
Music Award.—ln the recent music awards by Trinitv College, London. Philip M. Driver was successful in the grade six pianoforte exhibition. He is a pupil of Miss A. T. Gale.
