Schools’ Conference
The new southern region of the New Zealand Secondary School Boards’ Association will hold its first conference late in April or early in May in Christchurch. The association agreed to try regional conferences to reduce numbers and expenses at national meetings (which will now have representatives of the three regions only) and also because it considered regions had greater community of interest. The southern region covers most of the South Island.
