Yaldhurst Land Mrs E. S. Guy’s property comprising 102 acres one rood six perches at School road, Yaldhurst, was passed in at £37,846 at public auction on Friday. The land, which has been in the Guy family for 84 years, was offered by the National Mortgage and Agency Company of N.Z., Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr N. Aitken. Improvements include a three bedroomed house, two storerooms, combined shearing and manure shed, implement sheds, garage, and two fowlhouses. The initial bid was £250 an acre. There was one bid of £5O, two of £25, and two of £lO. -A modern concrete block house and a garage on a rear section at 74A Glandovey road, Fendalton, was sold immediately after being passed in at £BlOO. The property was offered on account of Mr and Mrs F. A. Roper by Smith’s City Market. Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr R. A. -C. Smith. The house has a lounge, reception room, three bedrooms, I kitchen and bathroom.
