Four In Hospital After Accidents

Four persons were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital after motor accidents during the week-end. Six persons were treated for injuries Fell Out of Car.—Concussion and abrasions to the head, arms and legs were suffered by Daryl Andrews, aged three, of 54 Kaiwara street, when he fell out of a car in Battersea street on Saturday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Car Strikes Pole.—Two persons were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital after a car struck a pole in Wainoni road on Saturday afternoon. They are Wendy Lineham, of 83 Buckleys road, who suffered head injuries and Alexander Mitchell, of 40 Richiil street, Belfast, who suffered concussion.

Cut Lip.— When two cars collided in Wordsworth street about 7.10 p.m. on Saturday, Carol Lester suffered lacerations to the lip. She was treated at the Christchurch Hospital. Two Persons Injured.—Two cars collided at the corner of Manchester and Worcester streets about 2.45 a.m. yesterday. Allan David Shearing, of 38 Staveley street, suffered concussion and lacerations and abrasions to the head. Barry Sydney Stewart, of 13 Glynne crescent, suffered abrasions to the head and lacerations to the leg. They were treated at the Christchurch Hospital. Admitted to Hospital.— Concussion and lacerations and abrasions to the head were suffered by William Phillip Foster, of 74 Picton avenue, when a motor-cycle and a car collided at the corner of Picton avenue and Dillworth street about 12.30 a.m. yesterday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.

Car Hits Post.— When a car hit a post at Rolleston yesterday morning Robert Kuru, of Amberley, suffered injuries to the chest and a leg. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital.

Fell Off Motor-scooter.— Walter Parsons, of 71 Bamford street, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for leg injuries after .he fell off a motor-scooter in Cumnor terrace, Wooiston, on Saturday afternoon. Head Injuries.—Ron George Haggerty, of 47 Tuam street, suffered head injuries when a motor-cycle and a car collided at the corner of Hills and Shirley roads yesterdayafternoon. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital.
