Stable Double Is Likely At Cromwell
"The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. Th* Rivtrton train*!-, W. J. Hillis, may produce the winner doubles combination at the Cromwell Jockey Club’s meeting today. With Ettrick, in the President’s Handicap, and Hazy Light in the Tod Jolley Memorial, he has a strong chance. Ettrick, which will be having his second start in open company, may find the hardest to boat are the consistent Flying Trix and Allez Vite, which ran an improver’s third in the Wingatui Handicap last week. Hazy Light outclassed the hack sprinters at the same meeting. There was rain in the district during the week but it was fine yesterday. The prospects are for a good track.
