(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 4. External Affairs Department officials had met the Japanese Ambassador to New Zealand (Mr S. Kondo) to discuss the incidents with Japanese fishing vessels off Great Barrier Island this week, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight. He said Mr Kondo would have communicated with his Government after the discussions, but no reply from Japan had been received by the New Zealand Government.
