Night Service
Wellington will shortly become the first city in Australia and New Zealand with a night refuse collection. The new service, starting on March 14, will be only in the city commercial centre. It will be co-ordinated with the night street cleansing service. Rubbish will also be collected from private residences in the area. There will be no daylight collection, except for the special service provided for some premises during the week-ends.
