Lone Pigeon Succeeds

Although all three Christchurch pigeon racing clubs released birds in Marlborough during the week-end, only one bird arrived home on the day of release. The bird of W. Walls (East Christchurch Club) was released from Picton at 10 a.m. and arrived home in 9hr 31min. None of the birds from the other clubs, released at Picton, Blenheim and Kaikoura, were able to finish.
