M.C.C. Wicket-keeper Marries In Dunedin
(N.Z. Press Association) 1 DUNEDIN, March 3. J. Parks, aged 34, the England and Sussex wicket- : keeper, in Dunedin with the i M.C.C., was married quietly today in a registry office to Miss Ann Wembridge, a secretary from Taunton, Somer- i set. After the wedding, the couple entertained the M.C.C. party to a champagne recep- ' tion at the team’s hotel. Miss Wembridge wore a white linen dress with a lace overjacket and a black straw hat. The honeymoon will be deferred until after England has played the second and
hird tests in Dunedin and Auckland next week. Parks has been given pernission to miss the team’s Inal tour games in Hong Cong, and the couple will sail inme via Panama. They met during the d.C.C.'s 1964-65 tour of South Africa when Miss Wembridge
was secretary to Mr R. Roberts, the English cricket writer.
