GARDENING ACCESSORIES

Possibility Of Saturday Sales

(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND, Feb. 11.

The Horticultural Trades Association would investigate the possibility of selling all types of garden accessories as well as plants on Saturdays, it was decided at the national annual conference at Takapuna today.

The subject arose after the national president (Mr A. Newman) said a precedent had been established recently when an Invercargill retailer had been allowed by a Magistrate to sell gardening accessories on Saturday at a new drive-in garden centre.
