Big Class At Sunnyside
The new intake for the psychiatric nursing course at Sunnyside Hospital is the largest yet. The class for the three-year course comprises six men and 19 women, said the Matron, Mrs M. C. Bazley, yesterday. Mrs Bazley said the size of the class reflected a growing public awareness of psychiatric nursing and its opportunities. Although more staff was needed, this class would greatly relieve shortages at the hospital.
