Test Manager
Mr I. A. Baxter will manage the New Zealand team during the first test against England in Christchurch. The match manager will be Mr A. R. Arblaster and his assistant Mr D. N. Stokes. Mr R. L. Kerr, assisted by Mr M. C. Stonyer, will manage the Canterbury match against Otago, starting tomorrow. Shield Challenge.— Otago wilH lodge a special challenge for the Ranfurly Shield thds season. If accepted, Otago will play for the trophy for the first time siince 1961.
