Making Grant For Gear
The Canterbury Cricket Association will in future make a £lO grant for gear to all new intermediate schools. The management committee, on the recommendat.on of the finance committee, decided this last evening. Competitions.—A further entry for Teachers’ College, in the third grade B, was reported. This raises the total increase since the beginning of the season to seven: four club sides and three schools. Coaching.—A suggestion byMr I. T. Galloway, rector of St. Andrew’s College, that a training course or courses for school cricket coaches be held, was referred to -the coaching sub-committee.
