MAIL GOES TO ALGIERS

U.S. Prisoners Of Viet Cong (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright; ALGIERS, Feb. 6. Letters and packages for United States soldiers imprisoned by the Viet Cong have begun to arrive in Algiers, the “New York Times” news service reports. Arrangements to use Algiers as a relay point for mail addressed to United States prisoners have not been completed, but it is understood that the mail already sent to Algiers is now en route to Vietnam, via Moscow. Mr Hyunh Van Tam, the head of the National Liberation Front mission in Algiers, has left for Moscow with his chief aide, Mr Vo Cong Trung, taking the packages and letters with them, a spokesman for the Viet Cong said.
