No Sign Of Rescuer

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 7. The Kawhia police, aided by skin-divers, searched until dark tonight for the body of a man missing and feared drowned in the Kawhia harbour. He is Mr Thomas Onehi, aged 36, of Te Awamutu. He went to help a child in difficulties in the harbour but then got into difficulties himself. Mrs Onehi rescued the child but her husband disappeared.
