Food For Thought BANANAS IN FOIL
[By
ALAN TREMAIN]
Bananas in foil is an unusual sweet, very nice and easy to prepare. If you have a barbeque just pop them on top of the coals after you have cooked the meat
Method: Allow one banana per person and peel them and place each on a square of foil top with one of the three following toppings.—l: Sprinkle with lemon juice, brown sugar, grated lemon rind, and a little honey. 2: Top with pineapple pieces, lemon juice, grated lemon rind and a little sugar. 3: Sprinkle with lemon juice, brown sugar, and dessicated coconut Pick up the edges of the foil and seal by folding. Twist the ends to secure the bananas. Grill for 10 minutes or if the oven is
hot pop them in just before you sit down to the main course. Open and serve in foil containers.
