TICKET FOR JAMAICA.—The slim West Coaster, D. C. McKenzie, ran a world-class marathon in the Canterbury championships on Saturday. Winning the event in very warm conditions, McKenzie was timed at 2hr 17min 22sec, the fastest time run in this country, and probably earned himself selection for the Commonwealth Games in Kingston later this year.
