Girl Injured In Collision

(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, Feb. 6. Gail Frances Austin, aged 16, of 22 Washbournes road. Sockburn, was admitted to the Tiinaru Hospital for observation after the car in which she was a passenger overturned in a collision with another vehicle near the Washdyke racecourse at 12.15 a.m. today. Miss Austin’s condition is satisfactory. The car which rolled over, was driven by Wendy Ethel Goulding, of 427 Main South road. Hornby.

Two other passengers in this car were also injured. Errol Millar Patrick, aged 16. of Geraldine, suffered a slight cut and bruises, and John Stewart Gillespie, aged 16, also of Geraldine, suffered a minor cut.

Both cars were extensively damaged.
