TALK OF ELECTION
Wilson Sees Officials
Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 6. Mr Harold Wilson will hold crucial talks today on the timing of a General Election amid a widespread belief in political quarters that the chances are grow’ng of a March or April contest. Mr Wilson is believed to have drawn up tent;five plans for an election then, but some unconfirmed reports last night spoke of ministerial pressure for a contest at the end of April, after the annual Budget has been announced. Mr Wilson went to his official country residence of Chequers yesterday to prepare for talks there today with about 60 politicians and key Labour Party officials. A clear indication of his General Election strategy is expected to emerge at the end of the day-long talks.
